If you're looking for a church to join, this should be the last one you look at! I was interested in hearing about the word of God and becoming a Christian and this congregation went out of their way to treat me terribly. Never have I met such unwelcoming and rude people.
I gave this church several chances and every time the Pastor, Randy Cook, spoke with me, he would be extremely demeaning and unchristian towards me. Why? I have no idea. I was shocked and hurt to be treated this way, for I figured that Christians were suppose to be loving and kind...After attending this church it took me a long time to find God, for some of these people had no presence of him in them to shine on me. The minute I walked into that place that Pastor went out of his way to make me feel so incredibly unwelcome. How could a man of God act that way in a church of all places? I have no clue. To me it, felt like he went up to the pedestal to preach of God, but only hypocrisies spouted out. Please don't waste your time here, unless this pastor is gone. There are plenty of more kind and devoted congregations to join than this one.

    Amen.

  • Pastor Randy Cook and his church are amazing people. I have known them for many years. Randy and Jen personally reached out to a family member of mine whom was on drugs and in and out of prison his whole life. They taught him to love the Lord and how to be a responsible member of the community. Randy spent countless hours mentoring him and showing him the Lord's way. I personally can't thank them enough as well as all the other members of the church who joined in. Randy and his church have always been welcoming and supportive. I am sorry Mattie that you got this impression but I am guessing there is more to your story than your sharing. I have never met anybody as open and caring as Randy is. I have never seen Randy be judgmental or the church be unwelcoming. I am sure Randy would be more than happy to even sit down with you personally and hear your side and share his love of the Lord with you.

  • I've had the opportunity to meet Pastor Randy and his wife Jen. My daughter invited us To attend Sunday service with her family. I have to say I have never felt more welcomed into the folds of a church as I did here! I just wish my husband and I lived closer so we could attend regularly. Gods love is definitely radiating from this church!
